Letter from the President
This past week I celebrated my birthday. I cherished the time for reflection – a time to learn, heal, soak in my life and set up the future so I step authentically, with intention and with joy. This year was without a doubt personally and professionally one of the most challenging to date and yet it ended on a tremendous high note.Last December a family health scare forever changed the family dynamics and my accountability to self. My foundations were shaking and I had no idea where the future would take me. Inside this chaos I found my footing as I unexpectedly found my heart open to another. The memories are etched and the smiles remain above the lesson a broken heart that let light in to allow for growth. And so my new foundation had begun…
Callosum was on the verge of closing its doors when this August I landed the largest project in our six-year history. It is the “stretch” I have been asking for; the revenue relief to allow me to b I realize it’s not luck. I had to surrender – to let go of the ledge and have faith that the next opportunity would perfectly appear as a result of persistence, belief in helping others, focus and gratitude. I found my faith. I created a road map and allowed it to bring me out of the current reality I was reluctantly living. As I teach others to understand, create and embrace their best self, I am reminded to do the same. Each year I do something that scares me as much as it excites me with the belief this keeps me young at heart. It’s in the fear, the tough spots, and the “stretch” that we grow the most. This past I have grown a LOT. This year I am taking singing lessons. What are you doing?
